JSD's Guitar Shack strives to bring you well built guitars that look and play great without breaking the bank. Quality products along with honest, reliable service has been my main goal since starting this business. I believe that the guitars I carry are some of the best guitars available in their price range. You don't need to spend a lot to get a great looking, sounding and playing guitar that you can enjoy for years to come. From the beginner just starting out to accomplished guitarists looking for a good guitar, I'll help you find the right one suited for you. METHODS OF PAYMENT

At this time we accept cash, money orders and payments through the services of Paypal. Secure online credit card payments are accepted and all are handled though the services of Paypal. Easy, safe and secure online payments and best of all you don't need a Paypal account to make a credit card payment. Interact e-mail money transfers are also accepted within Canada, its fast, convenient and secure, read more about it here.

SHIPPING

Expedited Parcel through Canada Post is used for all Canadian and US deliveries. Delivery within 5 days for most locations in Canada, 7 to 11 business days to the US. For most guitars shipping within Canada is set at $35, US shipments $50. Bigger guitars may cost a little more to ship. International shipments please contact me requesting a shipping quote. We reserve the right to adjust shipping charges accordingly to actual values if required. All items are sent insured and will be packed very well to ensure safe delivery. If you'd like faster Xpresspost shipping through Canada Post it is also available at an extra cost.

TAXES

Prices do not include taxes. All Canadian residents will be charged 5% GST on the total of the item before shipping charges. Ontario residents will also be charged 8% PST to the total of the item before GST and shipping. Orders outside of Canada are NOT charged Canadian taxes.

PRIVACY POLICY

JSD's Guitar Shack does not distribute, sell, or rent your name or personal information to any third party. We do not share any statistics with any third-party vendors and will never provide any personal or specific information about the individuals who buy from us. Your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than to send products or track orders, nor will it be divulged to anyone outside of our company, unless required by law or legal process.

WARRANTY

JSD's Guitar Shack warranties all guitars sold to the original retail purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship within the first year. This warranty specifically excepts play wear or any wear caused by exposure of the guitar to excessive or extreme temperature or humidity. Cracking or settling of the finish is considered “normal use” and is not covered by warranty. Unauthorized repairs or alterations may void this warranty. Hardware is not warranted. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact me for return authorization before shipping any guitar. Guitars shipped without return authorization will not be accepted. This warranty takes the place of any other warranty, expressed or implied. Some guitars may have additional warranties from the supplier or manufacturer, please ask for specifics.

Remember, the best warranty is a careful owner. All the guitars I carry are set up, tested and inspected before shipping to ensure there are no manufacture's defects. If you do find a problem, I want to take care of it, but cannot be responsible for problems resulting from mistreatment or carelessness.

RETURN POLICY

First and foremost I want you to be happy with your purchase and will accommodate any return requests fairly. To avoid unnecessary frustrations, inconveniences and expenses, please read the product descriptions carefully and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have to be sure the merchandise is well suited for you. Returns will only be accepted on defective items. Shipping is non-refundable. In the unlikely event that you find a manufacture's defect you must e-mail or call us first within 3 days of receiving your item before attempting to send your item back. Items found not to have any manufacture's defects or that show signs of wear or abuse will be charged a minimum of 20% as a restocking fee. Merchandise may be refused for return at our option. Shipping is non-refundable. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges.

Any merchandise being returned must be in new condition with no signs of wear or abuse. We will not take any instrument back, nor issue any refund, if the guitar is not in the same condition as when we originally shipped it out. All items must be packed in the original product package and the original shipping carton. Contain all original packing materials, cartons, product information, paperwork and accessories. Customer is responsible for merchandise until it safely reaches us. You are responsible for any damages incurred on the return freight. To protect your return please repack the items using all of the original packing materials and insure the package for the full value or your purchase.

For packages damaged in shipping. If there are signs of external damage on the carton or obvious damage to the item inside please have the carrier note the damage and contact me immediately so I can help you rectify any problem. All items are sent insured so after we receive the damaged merchandise and file a claim, we will replace or refund your shipment. Customer will be responsible for all shipping and handling charges plus 20% restocking fee if shipment is refused upon delivery and no damages are found.
